Born in Knoxville, Tennessee and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Keva D. Horry is truly a southern girl at heart.  Keva earned an Arts and Sciences degree (with a focus on Communications) at the University of Alabama.  She is a former gymnast, high school Homecoming Queen and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

In 2008, Keva founded and serves as executive director of The Ashlyn Horry Foundation -- in honor of her daughter Ashlyn -- with the goal of making it a primary resource for families who are managing life caring for children with

1p36 Deletion Syndrome.  In 2009, the University of Alabama College of Arts and Sciences External Degree Program honored her with the Alice Parker Award for Outstanding Work in the Humanities.

Keva is an author and sought-after public speaker who reaches hearts and educates minds through sharing her experiences as the wife of an accomplished professional athlete and as the mother of a special-needs child.  Her highly anticipated memoir, Glamorous Sacrifice – Life in the Shadow of Championships, is her homage to her daughter Ashlyn.
